Ritual + Dark Art

Wear Black. Wear Local. Wear Art.

The focus this summer has, rightly, been on social justice and survival necessities, and we're no different over here at Ritual. Instead of shopping for the sweaters, cloaks, and scarves that make anticipating autumn so satisfying, we've been protesting and stocking up on paper goods, food, and healing crystals. (They are a survival necessity and we will brook no argument around that issue.)
Despite global circumstance, or perhaps as a balm for it, art continues to be made and admired in communities the world over. It is both the bane and blessing of artistic souls that creation is never ending, even in the face of tragedy and upheaval, throughout all of human history. The plague-influenced 'Danse Macabre' began as pedestrian pamphlets meant to warn people of the invisible menace stalking them during mundane activities, but became a seminal influence that later inspired hundreds of imitations.  Artistic expression helps us to cope with the unimaginable, while inspiring us to hope for a better future, one in which we can visit galleries, art walks, and museums without fearing for our lives. After all, if someone on this planet was able to turn a vulva into a bat, there may truly be no limits to mankind's innovation.

Wear a tank top that says "STOP DON'T GET ANY CLOSER!" so that you don't have to.

You didn't know you needed a bat vulva on a shirt. Until now. Now you know you do. You're welcome.

The perfect shirt for Leo season.

Someday soon we'll feel the glorious benefits of the tarot card "The Sun".
Joy, ease, and reaping hard won rewards.

Stay calm. The thirteenth card of a tarot deck doesn't mean what you think it means.

This one does, though. It means exactly what you think.

Enforce social distancing with a disembodied doll head. It's in the CDC guidelines somewhere.

We don't mean it. Except when we do.

Wear Black. Wear Art. Wear a Fucking Mask.
